KARMIC TIEMPO.
Born on Long Island soil, their unleashed brand of original piano-bass-drums sounds
can only be described as "muy caliente." Known both locally and nationally for his
skill as keyboardist, arranger and producer, pianist Jim
Ahrend is often seen
on stage and national TV as Music Director for flamenco guitarist
Esteban.
A former student of legendary Jaco Pastorius, performer-instructor
Mike Frost
brings a melodic virtuosity on the electric fretless bass one seldom finds even among
jazz guitarists. Driving the beat is the very capable Joe Chirco,
top winner in local and national drum competitions and virtuoso of stage, studio, and drum clinics,
whose credits include Zen Tricksters, Michel Camilo, Jim Chapin, and others.
